About Us

Kevin Kelley
Kevin was born and raised in Somerville, Massachusetts, the two-time "All-American City." Born at a time when Somerville was the most densely populated city in America, and when a one-room record store was the cultural center of Davis Square, Kevin's musical tastes started with the Everly Brothers, Elvis, Johnny Cash and whatever else his older siblings listened to (and whatever WBZ, WMEX and WRKO played on the AM dial); then, along came the sixties, FM radio, Harvard Square, The Beatles and Stones, Simon and Garfunkel, and a whole new world of possibilities. Gradually, the likes of John Prine, Van Morrison, James McMurtry, Leonard Cohen and Neil Young left their mark, but so did The Pogues, Mark-Almond Band, Counting Crows, Harry Manx, The Clash, Talking Heads, Stevie Wonder, all the great Boston Bands of the late 70's/early 80's, Catie Curtis, Barry White, Marshall Tucker, Graham Parker, Hothouse Flowers, 10,000 Maniacs.... and 10,000 more.

Currently, home is Plum Island, famous among the locals as a place where people go to "hide or heal." The music helps.
